Nicole C. Lofton is a writer, advocate, and transformational guide known as The Heart & Soul Linguist — a Spiritual Midwife who helps individuals articulate their inner world, heal their hearts, and birth their God-given purpose.
Her journey began long before she found her title. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2007, Nicole’s passion for understanding people and fostering healing grew through both study and experience. As a survivor of domestic violence, she turned pain into purpose, using her voice to bring awareness and support to others walking through similar storms.
In 2011, Nicole launched the influential blog Domestic Violence As A Whole, which became a powerful platform of awareness and healing. The blog reached thousands, earning recognition as one of the Top 101 Domestic Violence Resources by Socialworkdegree.net, and her petition to the NFL urging acknowledgment of domestic violence awareness gained national attention.
Her compassion and leadership led her to further her spiritual and professional growth by becoming a Certified Biblical Life Coach in 2012 and later adding mental health coaching credentials. In 2013, she founded the Faithful Deeds Foundation and launched the From Pain to Purpose conference, initiatives dedicated to restoring hope through compassionate action.
Today, Nicole merges her legacy of advocacy with a deeper spiritual calling. Through The Heart & Soul Linguist, she blends biblical wisdom, emotional awareness, and creative expression to guide others through healing and heart alignment. Her work—whether through writing, mentoring, or soulful reflection—invites people to slow down, listen within, and allow God to bring purpose out of what once felt like brokenness.
Nicole’s presence and purpose are rooted in one truth: when the heart is heard, the soul can heal
