About Nicole
I’m Nicole C. Lofton, a faith-based writer and the founder of Purpose Whispers.
Purpose Whispers grew from my belief that God often speaks in the quiet places of our lives — through Scripture, reflection, conviction, encouragement, and the moments that cause us to slow down and pay attention.
My own journey has included seasons of growth, rebuilding, questioning, learning, and rediscovering purpose. Those experiences shaped the way I see faith today. I have learned that purpose is not always revealed all at once. Sometimes God shows us only the next step. Sometimes He uses the things we have endured, the lessons we have learned, and even the questions we are still carrying to cultivate something deeper in us.
Writing has been one of the ways I process those lessons.
Over the years, I have written about faith, relationships, personal growth, difficult life experiences, and the places where Scripture meets everyday life. I’m drawn to stories and reflections that make us examine ourselves, think more deeply, and consider what God may be revealing beneath the surface.
That same desire also led me into coaching. My background includes biblical life coaching, life-purpose coaching, grief coaching, and mental-health coaching. While I no longer center my work around the title of “life coach,” the heart behind that training still influences what I create: thoughtful questions, honest reflection, encouragement, accountability, and helping people recognize where growth may be needed.
Purpose Whispers brings those pieces together.
Here, you’ll find stories, podcasts, Scripture-based reflections, spiritual-growth resources, and art created to encourage you to pause, listen, and pay attention to what God may be cultivating in your life.
The Purpose Garden is an extension of that vision — a place to read, listen, reflect, grow, and discover. Some things here may encourage you. Others may challenge you. Some may simply give you something to sit with for a while.
My hope is not to tell you exactly what your purpose is.
It is to create space for you to seek God, examine what He may already be showing you, and become more attentive to the whispers that can easily be missed in the noise.
Because I don’t believe purpose always shouts.
Sometimes, it whispers.
And sometimes, all we need is enough stillness to hear it.
